Paperback. Breakdown Press is proud to be publishing Star of Swan, a new work by Margot Ferrick. A lonely swan travels cross-country to attend a gathering of like-minded birds. Is what she expects what she wants, and how far will she go to find out? Exploring the world of internet friendships, desire and the space between want and need, Star of Swan is a beguiling, thrilling new comic that readers will find hard to put down or forget. Engaging with the post-lockdown world of parasocial relationships and long-distance fandoms, Star of Swan is a vital work of the moment, and cements Ferrick's place as one of the most important chroniclers of the modern condition. Their haunting line will inspire and delight readers familiar and unfamiliar alike, and this is sure to be one of the defining works of the year. A striking new work by one of the rising new stars of comics, this book is supported by the simultaneous release of Half Gold/Half Dung, also from Breakdown Press. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.…
