Sometimes you have to be careful what you wish for…
In the second book in the series, Liam Osborne finds himself thrust into the limelight as his beloved Clifton Rangers make their return to the topflight.
With a small squad and a scheming chairman, former player and current manager Harry Welch knows how difficult it’s going to be to stay there. Its 1991 and with the riches of the Premier League on the horizon he knows they can’t afford to be relegated.
It’s a lot of pressure for a nineteen-year-old in his third season as a professional footballer. Follow Liam as he battles to come to terms with his newfound fame while dealing with all the insecurities that come with being a teenage star.
Inspired by his experiences as a professional footballer is this latest novel from Anthony Potts. It is a chance to go behind the scenes in the brutal world of professional sports.
