This concise directory contains the most important proof marks of the European countries. Chapters are organized so that each time period covered by a specific proof law is contained within that chapter. Thus, establishing the approximate age of most European proofed guns is greatly facilitated. Hundreds of line drawings, charts, and indices make this book the world's most valuable proof mark reference for the collector.
