Elmo wants to live in a world where the word racism is replaced with the word love. This important book, inspired by the CNN/Sesame Street Town Hall "Coming Together: Standing Up to Racism," has bright, bold photographs of Elmo, Big Bird, Rosita, Abby, and other Sesame Street friends--plus a pull-out poster--stating their hopes for diversity and acceptance, while also explaining racism. This book is a helpful way to introduce tough yet important topics to young children.
Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit educational organization behind Sesame Street, aims to help kids grow smarter, stronger, and kinder through its many unique domestic and international initiatives. These projects cover a wide array of topics for families around the world.
