131+ pages, TEG, landscape 4to, Illustrated with 11 full page colour plates from paintings and many full page and text drawings by Balfour Browne. One of a limited edition of 950 copies, this being No 653, bound in 1/4 brown leather with gilt stags head and title to upper board in the publishers original slipcase, a fine copy. Balfour Browne is considered one of the foremost painters of red deer and stalking scenes. He was also a keen student of stalking and the letters that he left provide much good advice to any stalker.
