Paperback. Step into the extraordinary life of America's first native-born saint, a woman whose journey from privilege to profound holiness reshaped the Catholic Church in the United States. Born into the elegance and expectation of post-Revolutionary New York, Elizabeth Ann Seton's life seemed destined for comfort and social acclaim-but God had a radically different plan. This gripping narrative traces her path through love and loss, widowhood and illness, doubt and devotion, revealing a woman of courage, vision, and unshakable faith. Witness her pioneering work in Catholic education, her founding of the Sisters of Charity, and the maternal guidance that shaped generations of children, sisters, and communities. Through heartbreak and trial, Elizabeth transforms adversity into a mission that would leave an indelible mark on American society and the universal Church.Rich with vivid storytelling, historical detail, and intimate reflections, this book brings Elizabeth Ann Seton to life as never before-showing her as a mother, leader, visionary, and revolutionary in faith.
