The book is very well illustrated with (according to the Sandglass) twenty-eight full-color illustrations, three of which are double spreads, and additionally thirty monochrome drawings scattered throughout the text. Condition: This book is in near fine condition. The slipcase is a bit dust-dulled and shows some fading along the opening and on the top edge; the bottom edge has some light shelf wear. Inside the book is pristine and even our former owners forgot to add their bookplate. The interior pages and many plates are bright and clean throughout. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight, sound and square. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.…
