Collectible first edition, first printing of P. G. Wodehouse's Spring Fever. UK edition published simultaneously with Doubleday US edition. Priority applies to UK edition (follow the flag). Per Herbert Jenkins practice of designating first editions, "First Printing" so stated on copyright page. "Dust jacket in archival Brodart sleeve with clipped bottom corner to front flap and "6/6d NET" stamped above it, indicating a price change. All first printing points present. Complete as issued in orange cloth with black lettering to front and spine panels. Conforms to Mcllvaine A67. Tight, unmarked copy with crisp extremities and slight wrinkling to head and tail of spine panel. Orange cloth vivid. Internals lightly tanned. Unexplained 2 1/8" stub bound in place of full front free endpaper. Dust jacket with minimal shelf wear and tape adhesive stains to outer edges of flaps and middle of back pastedown.
