About the Author

Edward Krawczyk has been a PADI Course Director since 2003. In his first career with a major corporation supervising engineering projects all over the world, he always felt drawn to the sea. He earned his first PADI scuba diving certification during a 3-year assignment in Cartagena, Spain. On his first dive, he knew he had found the sport he loved most, and when he returned to the USA in 1992 he became a PADI instructor. Eventually, together with his wife Marge – also a scuba instructor – they founded Calypso Tampa, which became PADI's flagship 5-Star Instructor Development Center (IDC) in the Tampa Bay region. Since then and for nearly two decades, Calypso Tampa has certified thousands of PADI scuba divers in Florida's famous freshwater springs. Edward Zellem is a retired U.S. Navy captain who served on active duty worldwide for 30 years. An accomplished author and linguist, he has won 12 international book awards for three books published in 18 languages. He is an active PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT) and achieved his first PADI scuba certification in a cold, dark Pennsylvania quarry in 1986. Since then, he has dove in a variety of aquatic environments all over the world.

If you use this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a cancellation on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.

Effects of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel with contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

Exceptions to the right of cancellation

The right of cancellation does not apply to:

the delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
the supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not cancel it once delivery had started.
