Mastering Your Life

Mastering your life is the key to opening the door to your inner spiritual world. When you rediscover who you really are in this spiritual and physical universe, you attain mastery, thereby becoming the experiencer of your life, taking responsibility for what unfolds for you each day. As master of your own life, you are empowered to meet every challenge and to grow spiritually.

Life is a process of expanding, remembering, and spiritually evolving from the lowest consciousness of your mind to the highest consciousness of your soul. If your life has been difficult, it may be because you have been repressing your spirituality by blindly following what your ancestors, governments, and religious institutions have taught you. If you continue to do this, you will continue to face challenges and experience mental, physical, and emotional separation from others. For example, some people fear intimate relationships because they don't know their true spiritual self or don't know what love really is. Others do not embrace the experience of being alive due to a fear of illness or of lack.

Similarly, some people believe life is about acquiring material possessions, paying bills, looking for love outside of themselves, and working many hours a week. For such people, when something goes wrong, such as increased financial debt, they may become frightened. For example, if people been taught that poverty is bad, they may worry that they may not have enough money to survive. Such worries are unfounded, however, for everyone already has all the spiritual tools within his or her soul to master all of the challenges in life, be they financial, mental, physical, etc. With these spiritual tools, we are all equipped to experience unconditional love (the grandest aspect of life) with ourselves and with others.

Notice, dear reader, that I say "You already have these tools." "But," you may say, "I do not. Others may — but not me." The wisdom in the pages of this book will help you to remember that indeed, you do have these tools within your soul. How? Through the working wisdom of your soul, you can activate eternal wisdom through meditation.

When you remember how your soul works, you will stimulate your inner wisdom to connect with your higher consciousness and thereby improve your life. Then, your mind will understand the main focus of life: the experience of your soul.

When you remember how your mind works, you will remember the connection to your soul to bring out your best past experiences and information to solve your present challenges.

When you remember how your emotions and feelings work, you will become more expressive, assertive, and enlightened so as to communicate with others without concerns.

When you remember how your physical body works (for the body is a tool of the soul), you will nurture it with a good diet, care, and gentleness to express your spirituality more effectively.

When you remember how your soul works, you will express love, joy, wisdom, peace, and freedom toward higher consciousness and will encourage others to remember that love is all there is.

Remember ... at all times, through your old belief system you are recreating and cocreating or your spiritual awareness (or unawareness) all that is happening in life with others. Belief systems form behavior! For example, if you believe you are unworthy, imperfect, or untrustworthy, that is the kind of person you will become. But if you believe you are worthy, perfect, good, trustworthy, and spiritual, you will become that person.

In order to master your life, it is important to stimulate your mind and practice the spiritual perspectives present within your soul (or read this book!). In my own life, for example, by interacting with a diverse mix of people in varied situations, I have become aware of my own spiritual perspectives and now have the ability to dig deep within myself in any situation to activate my own wisdom. Through this experiential knowledge, I have come to understand myself and others more deeply.

The following spiritual perspectives about life may help you both to remember and generate your own internal experiences. Use them to foster your own spiritual evolution:

Life is a process of recreating and materializing, in this physical universe, what Spirit has already created in the spiritual universe ("as above, so below"). For example, our latest technology already existed at the energy level before it was brought into common usage through the insight, inspiration, and innovation of some people, scientists, and extraterrestrials. Every element of our physical world is mirrored in the spiritual world — the choices of and possibilities for experience are endless. By choosing from these myriad potentials and experiencing your choices, you will evolve and experience higher consciousness — the most beautiful, pleasant, and internal experience you can ever have.

Life is spirituality demonstrated at the physical level. This physical life throughout the universe is the reflection of Spirit experiencing itself through everyone and everything. The spiritual and physical universe live within your soul, which is love, your highest consciousness.

Life is an internal spiritual experience, which allows you to stimulate love in everyone and everything because love and Spirit is your true essence.

Life is love revealed, and eternal love (you) is all there is in life; experience it!

Life is always inviting you to participate in and experience your spiritual evolution. If you work on your spirituality, you can accelerate this process.

Life is always in motion, moving up, not down, moving forward, not backward. Look forward to moving upward spiritually! All things are in motion because all things have consciousness (energy) and are moving toward each other (oneness).

Life isn't a school in which you come to pay back karmic lessons or experience tough times. Life is a glorious, spiritual journey to enjoy. Live life fully — experience higher consciousness through the soul, mind, and body!

Living life without spirituality is living half a life, or a life with struggles and dramas.

Living a spiritual life leads you toward self-realization. Your expanding spirituality allows you to disregard other people's old belief systems and through your soul, to create your own perspectives about life.

In this life, you have the choice to understand spirituality, to help others become aware of their spirituality or to experience spirituality. Choose to experience it — that is what your soul is looking for! By embracing all these three characteristics, you will achieve mastery.

Spirituality is the manifestation of Spirit (life) in all spiritual and physical forms in the universe.

* * *

Spiritual prosperity generates a prosperous and experiential life in this physical form. The more you evolve spiritually, the more physical and spiritual abundance you can share with others.

When you live your life spiritually, you will develop your intuition and creativity. By tapping into your intuitive senses, you will be healthier and happier and have fewer challenges and worries. Silence your mind daily for twenty minutes — listen to your intuition!

When you love life, you love yourself. You expand and achieve higher consciousness through spirituality, which deepens through life's changes and experiences.

* * *

Living your life "unconsciously" may produce misperceptions, such as a belief in luck, accidents, coincidences, or destiny — or a belief that a so-called higher power guides your actions and is thereby responsible for your circumstances. Living your life consciously, through spiritual truths, on the other hand, produces awareness and allows you to make wise choices and to create spiritual experiences. Such actions will help you to evolve sooner. An all-controlling supreme being doesn't exist in the spiritual or physical universe. We are all part of a single soul and Spirit.

If you live life by choice (being aware), you live by making conscious decisions and actions. However, if you live life by chance or by coincidence (unawareness), you are allowing your past experiences to direct your present experiences.

Everyone and everything is consciousness, life, love, and Spirit. The first big bang or creation of the universe — which is still expanding right now — was made manifest by Spirit (the creator) in order for us to have enough space to create our own universe when we reach the highest consciousness or love. Within this immense first universe, other universes were also created (and are still being created) by highly evolved beings who have achieved and experienced highest consciousness with Spirit. You, too, can create a physical universe (a big bang burst of love, energy, soul, and Spirit) when you achieve and experience your highest consciousness. Everything in this spiritual and first physical universe was created by Spirit for an important reason: so that you may enjoy the game of life in this physical form while spiritually evolving.

When you reincarnate, or return in this physical form, you will forget who you were in your past life so you can continue to grow into higher consciousness, if you did not do so in your previous incarnation. However, if you had grown spiritually in your past physical incarnations (or in heaven), you will be reincarnated in another advanced world so you can become more spiritually evolved.

When you enjoy the game of life (evolving spiritually), you will remember more of your spiritual perspectives. Enjoyment opens up your heart and mind so your soul can bring you deep awareness and insightful experiences. This is the journey, the meaning, and the purpose of life for everyone in this universe.

Life Change

Life changes are a natural, internal, and spiritual process, providing opportunities for us to grow, and thus to evolve. In many ways, we ourselves are responsible for the life changes we choose to experience. Life changes experienced through hard times, socially or at the personal or career levels, for example, can be caused by an overreliance on our emotional or material needs. When difficulties arise, it can be a sign that our old belief systems are not working (for we may be serving manna instead of Spirit) and are not helping us to expand and heal our minds.

Sooner or later, all life changes move us forward through our own spirituality and toward our soul's higher consciousness. The speed at which we expand into higher consciousness is up to us.

The first step in embracing life change, and thereby in becoming a more evolved person, is to contemplate, daily meditation, and to practice your favorite spiritual perspectives. Choose your favorites from the following examples of life changes, and use them to gain experience and expand your mind:

Life changes create your spiritual evolution; your true spiritual self emerges as a consequence of embracing change. Choosing to experience spirituality will help you evolve faster during change.

Life changes take place during periods of disharmony, but by expanding your spiritual perspective, you will stimulate internal harmony. Your soul may unexpectedly help to make you aware that something is not working out in your life. That awareness can bring some harmony into your life. But if you keep choosing your mind through your old belief system, you may continue to experience more hard challenges.

Life change is a natural process that creates new experiences through your personal decisions. Making decisions through your spiritual awareness will help you to avoid hard times in your personal life.

In this spiritual and physical universe, life is constantly changing, expanding, and evolving. This is because the natural law of life for everyone and everything is to experience both the lowest and the highest consciousness. When you resist life changes or refuse to expand your mind, you restrict your spiritual growth. Embrace change and your spiritual life will become more experiential and more fulfilled.

Drastic life changes may be a wake-up call guiding you to transcend your old belief system in order to expand your spiritual life and thereby to evolve. Listen to your feelings or soul.

When the soul takes over the mind, spiritual experiences unfold, consciousness is awakened, and life change results. Life will be joyful, without dramas, stress, worries, and fear.

When a life change occurs, you have the opportunity to rise to the challenge of spiritual growth and through the interchange of your spiritual and physical being, to change your body's chemistry. Similarly, the spiritual practices of wisdom, joy, love, peace, freedom, optimism, tolerance, compassion, and patience strengthen your immune system at the cellular level. For instance, if you become inspired through your soul's wisdom, your brain, mind, soul, and body become healthy, and you become more spiritually attuned. And when you become spiritually attuned, you naturally become healthy and can thereby help others to rise to their fullest health potential, too.

Many people don't change because they haven't received enough spiritual education from their families, schools, religions, or governments. They have ignored their spiritual lives. Many of these people become caught up in the dramas of life and all kinds of entertainments, instead of using life's changes and transitions to help them to evolve. Life becomes more fun when you are spiritually aware!

Embracing the opinions of your old belief system makes you inflexible, and this inflexibility limits your internal experiences, options, and opportunities for spiritual life change. Life change is all about spirituality.

Experiencing spiritual love through your life changes can be the most powerful tool you possess. To evolve faster, get in touch with the love within your soul.

Other Perspectives on Life

When you ponder life's challenges, you realize they are not challenges at all; they are the result of old belief systems, creating obstacles to spiritual growth. Questioning your old belief systems is a method of connecting to your higher consciousness. The more you wonder about life, the more you invite your soul to give answers to the questioning mind. Quieting your busy, inquisitive mind will stimulate your soul's quest for answers.

When you follow others or experience yourself through others, it is an indication that you are still searching for your own spiritual truth. When others are following or experiencing themselves through you, it may indicate that you are becoming more spiritually evolved. Eventually, spiritual leaders will allow their followers to find their own inner truths and think for themselves so they can become masters of their own lives.

A master is one who sees and understands the oneness in everyone and everything; a teacher is one who encourages others to remember their spiritual truths. A blessed person is someone who experiences inner self-love through interacting with others. Feeling blessed is the result of experiencing ultimate spiritual truths about life.

A genius is someone who remembers and recovers answers from within the soul. We are all here to rediscover our genius and to remember and recover what has been temporarily absent from our minds.

The aura is the projection of your soul; your spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical energy manifest. The aura reflects different energies, depending upon how you feel and how you present your spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical being to yourself and others. If you are spiritually sensitive, you may sense your soul communicating with others. For instance, when you are close to someone, you can perceive her or his thoughts and emotions.

Desire is a natural impulse rising from your soul that can generate spiritual experiences.

Need, on the other hand, is your mind imagining that you need someone or something outside of yourself in order to make you happy. You don't need anyone or anything in order to be happy. If you desire happiness, choose to be happy and act on it — for that is your nature!

If you wish to think faster and make wiser decisions, don't focus on the past. Ignoring the past allows you to live in the present moment of the soul. Similarly, if you stop worrying about your tomorrows, you will improve the experience of the present moment, right here, right now, at the soul level. By being aware of this spiritual and physical moment, you can experience oneness with another person.

Don't condemn others for inappropriate actions against you. You co-create events to bring you spiritual awareness and an opportunity to evolve. When upsetting situations occur, remember that your soul is at work, guiding you to solutions and spiritual truths. Quiet your mind through meditation, and listen for the soul's directions. Be patient; the answer will come to your conscious mind!
