Seeing what scares them does.
Grad student Cami Mitchell has always been able to see the dead. In the quiet town she shares with her best friend Kat and her spirit dog Bandit, most ghosts are harmless—familiar faces she’s known for years.
Then strangers begin appearing.
Ghosts who are newly dead—and frighteningly vacant.
The newcomers arrive with no memory of their lives. They drift through town in silence, drawn by a hypnotic, wordless pull—a siren song only the newly dead can hear. As the town’s familiar spirits watch with growing unease, Cami realizes they are being funneled toward a single destination—and they have no power to resist the call.
Determined to save them, Cami, Kat, and Bandit follow the trail of the dead into a dark, long-buried chapter of the town’s history—a truth hidden for generations. What they uncover is an ancient evil waiting for its chance to return.
What begins as a rescue mission quickly becomes a desperate fight for survival.
As dangerous forces move to ensure the darkness rises again, Cami, Kat, and Bandit realize they may be the only thing standing between a sinister power and every soul in town.
Because even the dead can’t escape what’s coming.
And the clock is already ticking.
