Poor condition. Missing initial and rear leaves (first leaf present is pages iii-iv; last leaf is pages 335-336 - should conclude with 352 pages). Hardcover: H 15.5cm x L 11.5cm. Black spine chipped; dark cloth boards stained and worn at edges particularly at corners. Interior leaves toned and stained with tears and chips; varied writing. Book preserved for large bookseller ink stamp "Louis Durr, | News Dealer, | Bookseller & Stationer, | Toys, Fancy Goods & Notions, | Fine Cigars & Tobaccos, Confectioners, | Fruits, &c. Post Office Building | Palestine, Texas." on front pastedown but with lettering affected by rubbing, overwriting, and some erasure abrasion to page. Louis Durr was born in 1844; bookseller stamp should be circa 1880s.
