Paperback. Ray Stantz has found a life with partner and witch, Charlotte Spellman. When a call draws them to the windswept coast of Ireland, what begins as a field study with the Crossrip Response Unit soon spirals into something far older, and far more personal. In Beara, the sea has fallen unnaturally still, and the gods: forgotten and jealous, are stirring. Formed in the wake of the Danvers event, the Crossrip Response Unit: Zach, Barry, and Ciaran, combine cutting-edge physics, field equipment, and a deep respect for the arcane. Tasked with tracking the supernatural fallout across Ireland, the CRU quickly find themselves part of the investigation as ancient forces defy science. As Ray is lured away by a shape-shifting spirit promising power and immortality. Charlotte must navigate a fractured village, ancestral rites, and the shadows of her own fear. With both the living and the dead at stake, love alone may not be enough to call Ray back, when the cost of resurrection is soul-deep. A story of folklore, faith, and found family, Beware the Quiet Sea blends paranormal horror with aching devotion, asking: what would you sacrifice to stay with the one you love?
