- Book 1 of 1: Speech Therapy for Toddlers
Since the pandemic, parents and teachers have become more concerned about children’s abilities to interact. In addition, there have been delays in referrals to specialists.
According to the Education Endowment Fountain, in September 2020, 20-25% of children starting school needed help with language skills compared with the previous year.
Are you worried that your child isn’t showing the typical social interaction skills for their age? Are you waiting for a referral and frustrated there isn’t more you can do? Is your child receiving speech and language therapy, but do you want to do more for them?
In Speech Therapy GAMES, you will discover:
- 137 games and activities that require everyday objects you have at home—or just your time
- How 5 minutes of your time can make a world of difference to your little one
- 8 age-appropriate checklists to know that your child is on the right track
- Amazing insights into leading authorities and the latest research in the field of early and social interactions
- How to help children improve their speech and language development with targeted speech sound books
- Recipes to create with your little one—from biscuits to face paint
- How other parents in your shoes have overcome what seemed the impossible with simple solutions
- 15 social stories that you can adapt to help your child, from going to the dentist to making friends— Plus a free comic strip conversation to inspire you.
- The importance of all family members learning about their emotions and talking about them to reduce meltdowns
- A BONUS chapter dedicated to helping children over 5. With one book, you can support your child from birth to 10 years old
You may think this is going to take up a lot of your time. And while you would move
mountains to help your child, as a parent, I know time is limited. All you need is to set aside 5 minutes daily to start seeing a difference.
It gets better. You, your child, and your family can all have fun without feeling like it’s homework.
