Leder Ganzlederband d.Zt. auf 5 Bünden, stark berieben und bestoßen, der Rücken ist deutlich spröde, kleines Archivschildchen unten; beide Außengelenke sind leicht aufgebrochen. Der Schnitt ist stark gedunkelt. Das vordere Innengelenk ist leicht angebrochen, aber stabil; das Frontispiz-Blatt ist etwas gelockert. Die Seiten sind alterstypisch gedunkelt, teilw. auch stärker, gelegentlich auch mit kleinen Flecken oder Verschmutzungen. Die Tafeln sind teilw. leicht verfaltet, insgesamt und überwiegend aber ordentlich. Innendeckel mit Bibliothekseinkleber (Agricultural and General Library Scarborough), fliegender Vorsatz mit 5 zeitgenöss. Namenseintragen ab 1792 von Ausleihern. Mit 34 gefalteten Tafeln und einem Frontispiz. Die 16 Kapitel sind als fiktive Dialoge zwischen einem Chevalier, einer Countess und einem Prior gestaltet.
