Neuware - Aubrey Haines built his business from the ground up. A visionary tech CEO whose brilliance turned a late-night idea into one of Brooklyn's most powerful Fortune 500 companies. To the world, he's the man who has it all. But behind tailored suits and the penthouse view, Aubrey feels the quiet ache of the life he wishes he had. Success came at a cost, and somewhere along the way, he lost the music that once made him feel safe. After a bold decision to relocate, he finds himself in a small, hidden studio in New Orleans, pulsing with jazz and soul, and Aubrey is pulled into a world he thought was impossible. He accepts an entry-level position so he can bring the songs he's written to life. He meets Livia, a local cafe worker and singer whose voice speaks to him in a language he's been searching for. Livia sees past his shy exterior and into the man still searching for himself. As Aubrey is drawn deeper into Livia's world- the late-night rehearsals, raw lyrics, and the intoxicating freedom of creation- it allows him to rediscover the passion he buried under ambition. But stepping into this new life means sharing the painful past he's kept guarded. Caught between the world he made and the world that makes him feel alive. Aubrey must decide what he's willing to risk for a love that could rewrite everything. A story of feigned ambition, renewed identity, and the music that leads him home, this novel asks what happens when the heart refuses to stay in the life you built for it.…
