Octavo (22.5cm); black cloth-covered boards, with blind ruling to boards, and titling stamped in gilt on spine and front cover; 209pp. Charles Frederick Conry U.S. Corps Cadets label chipped and pasted to front cover, with name stamped to edges of textblock, and name and year inked to front endpaper. Modest shelfwear with rubbing (affecting cover title), light shelf-soil, and light pencilling throughout; Good. Charles Frederick Conry graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1904 as Second Lieutenant, and he was promoted to First Lieutenant when assigned with Company K, 10th Infantry at Camp E. S. Otis, Las Cascadas Canal Zone. In 1913, he drowned in Chagres River in Panama while on reconnaissance. Text includes preface, table of contents, and index, with a focus on Spanish pronunciation and conjugation of the Spanish verb. [83743].
