Oblong quarto. Unpaginated. Blind-stamped brown cloth with mounted photogravure on front cover, as issued. Binding protected by modern mylar. Decorative endpapers. Illustrated with thirty (6" x 7 1/4") offset photogravures, some with additional detailed hand coloring. Photographer unknown. Images (printed on verso only) show various scenery and monuments of the Holy Land such as Jerusalem, Jaffa Gate, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Mount of Olives, El-Aksa mosque, Jews at the Wailing Wall, Damascus Gate, Tombs of the Kings, Rachel's tomb, Panorama of Bethlehem, the Dead Sea, and others, Captions in German, Russian, French and English. Some age wear, abrasions and scuffing on binding. Inscribed by previous owner on front flyleaf. Binding in overall good, interior in very good condition with many finely hand colored photogravures in rich vibrant colors. Seller Inventory # 28764

International First Class typically starts at $20. International Priority is typically $35 or less if under four pounds weight, and starts at $40 if over four pounds. International Express is a faster and more expensive option.
