About this Item
This VG- quality first format book was published in 1928 by Grosset & Dunlap. It is 7-5/8" tall and has 215 numbered pages of text followed by 4 unnumbered pages of ads. This book is square, very clean, free of edge dings with the upper rear and lower front corners lightly bumped; head and heel of the spine are very lightly bumped with a very slight amount of damage at the head; the bottom edges have just a slight amount of wear. The binding looks very good and has few signs of wear. Except a toned FFEP, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and page damage of any type. The hinges are strong and not damaged in any way. The frontis is present and not damaged. The paper is barely toned and though a tad bit stiff is quite flexible. The series lists at the rear of the book do not list this series but do list through the 1926 Tom Swift title. The VG- quality jacket has very tiny chips at both front corners with wear along the front fold and larger chips at the head and heel of the spine. There are two small scrapes with color loss and an inked "X", both just above the plane on the front panel. The spine and rear panel are both somewhat darkened. There is no tape on this jacket. The list on the front flap the jacket lists the first 15 Ted Scott titles. Seller Inventory # BMR-2020-6-30-1
