Clean pages except for a prior owner's name on the front free endpaper and modest toning along both sets of hinges; full cloth cover shows only mild edgewear at spine ends, corners, and heel edges and a few small, pale adhesions at the upper spine. Dust jacket bears consideratble wear, including edge tears, thick bands of moisture staining at the flaps and left rear, fading of color at the spine, creasing, scratches, some dark smudges on the back; all text remains legible and the jacket is still striking as protected now in a clear sleeve.
