Nigella Lawson "Cook for Good is a brilliant initiative, using food and cooking to reduce food poverty and social isolation." Gordon Brown, former Prime Minister----From the back coverWhen a Cook for Good team member shared a flask of homemade soup with a volunteer at their community Pantry in London's King's Cross, it was the start of something special. Before long, the team had established a weekly soup cafe and fuelled an obsession with soup that spread across the whole community. Soup for Good shares our community's favourite recipes and tells the stories of some of its much-loved characters. With a foreword by Nigella, this beautifully illustrated book includes soups donated by our food-loving supporters, including former Prime Minster, Gordon Brown, Ed Balls, Karan Gokani, and Nigella herself, along with the food businesses who have helped us on our way.
