Paperback. Strange things were happening to Gabrielle Reynolds. In a matter of months, the MIT professor had gone from theorizing about quantum computing to building a functional prototype. Funding for her work mysteriously appeared. Interest in her progress inexplicably spiked. A shadowy figure that had haunted her since childhood suddenly emerged. She began hallucinating. Angels appeared in her dreams. A demon visited her apartment. Is it possible that the brilliant physicist was losing her mind? Meanwhile, an incurable plague was spreading. World health authorities were becoming alarmed. Gabrielle's benefactors were driving her to complete her work - as if racing against an imminent apocalypse. Gabrielle's hallucinations were getting worse. Violent criminals began pursuing her. What was happening? What did a potential new computing paradigm have to do with any of this? It was crazy but all too.real. An enthralling and thought-provoking thriller, Soul Deception is Gabrielle's story. This item is printed on demand.
