Signed by Author Edit Bannister Dowling was born in Liverpool, but brough up in the moorland area of North-East Lancashire, near 'Wuthering Heights', in a district crystallized by her father Fred Bannister in his book THE ANNALS OF TRAWDEN FOREST. While at Somerville College, Oxford, she broadened her publishing of verse and prose, which had begun with a poem at age seven, a story at age ten. Book is clean. Book is signed by author.
