Classical electromagnetism - one of the fundamental pillars of physics - is an important topic for all types of physicists from the theoretical to the applied. The subject is widely recognized to be one of the most challenging areas of the physics curriculum, both for students to learn and for lecturers to teach. About the Author: J. Pierrus has a background in experimental and computational physics. During the course of his career, he has published research in various areas including chemical physics, solid state physics, molecular optics and physics education. He has served as a reviewer for both the European and American Journals of Physics. As an experienced academic, he has developed teaching material in most areas of the core physics curriculum at the University of KwaZulu-Natal where he is a senior lecturer. He is a co-author of Solved problems in Classical Mechanics: Analytical and numerical solutions with comments, with this book being the second in that series.
