Neuware - Have you ever encountered something in life that wasn't what it appeared to be The Fromm family did. The husband, wife, and two teens are moving from Hartford, Connecticut to a suburb of Augusta, Maine as their father has gotten a great opportunity as a senior architect at a large firm. Their luck seemingly did not stop there, as they fell into a tremendous deal on a luxurious manor estate that falls just within their budget. It is more home than they need, but too great a boon to pass up. The manor is in excess of 150 years old, but looks extremely well maintained; ready to move in. Yes.the estate is ready for them in more ways than one. Laqueus Manor comes with a built-in housemaid and groundskeeper. They are extraordinarily welcoming. But they, as is the manor, are not what they seem. The surprises the manor holds for this family is what the suspenseful story is about. James and Catherine Fromm had never been religious; however, the events that take place at the manor lead them to develop a belief that there is definitely something beyond the natural world in which they live. At first, the estate begins to harmlessly toy with them. But soon the family realizes that Laqueus Manor is much more insidious than they could have ever imagined. The question morphs from, 'Will the family be able to put up with the surprises the estate springs on them ' to 'Will the family be able to survive the malevolent intentions the manor has for its new residents ' You see, the Fromms are not alone within Laqueus' walls. One spirit, who is exceptionally evil, insists on stealing their eternal souls. Enjoy reading the twisted end of this struggle between virtuous people and the minions of Hell.…
