“Snap Notes of an Eastern Trip” offers a fascinating glimpse into late 19th-century America through the eyes of Fannie de C. Miller. This travel diary recounts her journeys across the eastern United States, providing vivid descriptions of landscapes, cities, and social customs of the era.

Miller's observations provide a unique perspective on the daily life, cultural landmarks, and transportation methods of the time. Her personal anecdotes and reflections make this more than just a travelogue; it's a window into the experiences of a woman traveling independently in the late 1800s. Readers interested in American history, women's history, and the evolution of travel will find this diary an engaging and insightful read. Discover the charm and challenges of a bygone era through the detailed entries of Fannie de C. Miller.
