What exactly is your smart spot? And what do you need it for? Ever wished you knew exactly what to do next, especially when the experts in your life -- your employees, your boss, your investors -- are giving conflicting advice? The answer is simple: learn to use the power inside you -- your intuition. Intuition is a perceptive ability that gives instant insight into any situation for superior decision-making.
In The Smart Spot, Dia North shows readers how they can tap into their intuitive power to create absolutely anything they want -- from running a Fortune 100 company to getting a summer home by the sea, from increasing their business ten-fold to finding a different job. North helps readers unleash the creative power of intuition by teaching them how to apply the art of intention to their innate intuitive abilities. Discover what changes you really want to make and the rest will fall into place.
The Smart Spot takes readers through North's concise, easy-to-follow, 4-step process to making and implementing smarter choices:
- 1. Ground- discover your own and your organization's needs and wants.
- 2. Intend- articulate those needs and wants specifically and clearly.
- 3. Intuit- decide on and create an action plan.
- 4. Act- implement an action plan to achieve needs and desires.
Discover your "intuitive perception mode" whether you rely more on visual, auditory, insightful, or emotional ways of perceiving the world and the people in it. Then match your intuitive perceptive mode to your personal "action type". Are you someone who acts immediately? Or researches and analyzes before acting? Or engages in continual intuitive decision-making during implementation? By combining their intuitive perception mode with their action type, readers are fully armed to go out and get whatever they want.
Throughout the book, North tells stories of a wide variety of people who have achieved business and personal success through developing and channeling their intuitive powers. The straightforward, no-nonsense, can-do style of The Smart Spot will appeal to go-with-the-gut, as well as put-it-on-a-spreadsheet types, as they learn to harness and apply their intuition for profound personal and professional success.
