From “Don’t count your chickens before they’re hatched” to “Practice makes perfect,” this beautifully illustrated book introduces kids to timeless English proverbs and the lessons they carry.
Using proverbs is an intellectual way to interact with others.
Guided by the friendly Smart Owl, children will explore sayings that enrich language, sharpen communication, and offer valuable life wisdom. Each proverb is paired with a large, colorful illustration and a simple explanation, making it easy for young readers to understand and remember.
Whether read aloud with parents or browsed independently, this book encourages kids to think, laugh, and connect language with everyday situations. It’s more than just reading — it’s a way to spark conversation, curiosity, and a deeper appreciation of words and their meaning.
The 'smart owl' is teaching the kids and explaining to them the proverbs and what the mean.
