Almost nobody has a bad memory. Almost everybody has an untrained one.
You can still picture a room you walked into thirty years ago, yet you cannot recall what you read yesterday. Same brain, different result, and the difference is technique.
Smart Memory Builder — AI Powered is a complete memory-training programme in 36 chapters and nine parts. It teaches the methods that work, drills them until they are yours, and shows you how to use AI as a training partner without letting it do your thinking for you.
Measure your progress instead of taking it on trust. You begin with a scored baseline evaluation across five memory domains and finish with a matched final evaluation: the same format and difficulty, with all-new material. The difference between the two scores is your own evidence.
Inside the book:
- Foundations: how encoding, storage and retrieval work, why we forget, seven myths that hold you back, and why attention comes first
- Imagery and association: vivid images, strong links, emotion and the senses, and a sound-based method for long and unfamiliar words
- First systems: chains, mental folders, story-based memorization, and body and car palaces you carry with you
- The memory palace: build your first palace, anchor images cleanly, grow into multi-room palaces, and troubleshoot what goes wrong
- Numbers, names and languages: digit shapes, the Major System with a complete 00–99 set, peg sets, names and faces, definitions, and foreign vocabulary, including non-Latin scripts
- Everyday memory: one-exposure facts, stop losing things, appointments and intentions, and meetings, reading and speaking without notes
- AI-powered memory: what to hold and what to offload, AI as a training partner, and a verification habit for when you or a model is confidently wrong
- Body, brain and mastery: retrieval practice and spaced review, recall under pressure, sleep, food and movement graded by strength of evidence, and how memory athletes train
- A 30-day blueprint: five to fifteen minutes a day, with benchmarks along the way and the final evaluation at the end
Built to be worked, not just read:
- 125 timed drills with space to write
- 24 answer-key and rubric sheets, and 9 tear-out drill sheets
- Reference charts: digit shapes, the Major System code, the 00–99 set, peg sets, a review calendar and a 52-card system
- A 30-day tracker, a 70-term glossary and a full index
- The same ten-block structure in every chapter, with worked examples, common failures and answers to the questions readers ask
- Notes and Sources: 59 research references, each checked against its publisher's record
Clear about its limits. There is no photographic memory here, no guaranteed result, and no claim that memory training prevents dementia. Evidence is graded, benchmarks are presented as training targets, and the book says plainly what this training does and does not carry over to, drawing on the latest long-term evidence, including a twenty-year trial published in 2026.
If you have read memory books before and nothing changed, it is because reading is not practice. This one is built to be worked.

Store description
**Please note our transit times are from the date of dispatch.** We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first purchase with us, or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
