A true story of development of the modern smart phone, told by the inventor himself. Today’s iPhones and Androids were not born out of thin air; all their key elements were introduced years earlier by MyOrigo, a small European tech startup. This book tells what really happened, and how many of the famous iPhone features were actually invented. "As a retired US trial judge who knows virtually nothing about computer technology, I nevertheless found this book absolutely riveting as an exposition of the actual development of what is now called the iPhone. I was amazed to find that the main features of the device were invented years earlier by a Finnish inventor who has pioneered other cutting edge technology. A true revelation and the most interesting book of the past five years. Get it." - Judge William L. Burns, USA “There has never been a deeper written insight into the actual mobile phone boom years in the early 2000’s. This book really highlights what happened behind closed doors during the smart phone evolution and sheds some light on the much debated issue of who actually invented key elements of “modern smart phone”. Many people don't know that technology such as auto-orientation, finger-usable touch screen and screen swipe were not originally invented on the iPhone... In addition, this book is a profoundly human story of real-life, day to day issues a private inventor faces, creating a business out of radical ideas, using real 'bleeding edge' technology.” - Martin Gossling, former Motorola Sales Director and Technologist
