About the Authors:
Dr. Mike Goldsmith is a physicist by training, currently a programme co-ordinator at the National Physical Laboratory. He has published numerous academic papers on subjects including astronomy and clocks. He is shortly to publish a novelty Workshop Clock for children. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society (FRAS).
Kirsti Davidson is an illustrator and character designer living in Brighton on the south coast of the UK. Her clients include the National Literacy Trust, Laurence King, Magma, Penguin, Usborne and Little Tiger Press.
