Pages and pictures are bright, the binding is tight. -- Photographs and commentary by the author as World War II journalist. The commentary is deeply personal ("I hated Hitler, my grandfathers were Jewish"), the author talks about Ernie Pyle and Ernest Hemingway, he finds an amusing way to talk of awful circumstances.
