About the Author: EDITH HOPE FINE, a longtime writer, educator, and lifetime logophile ("lover of words'") is the author of many books for young readers, both fiction and nonfiction, most recently Water, Weed, and Wait. Her picture book Under the Lemon Moon was named a Smithsonian Magazine Notable Book and a Parent's Choice Silver Honor Book. Sleepytime Me is her seventeenth book. Edith Hope Fine lives in Southern California.
