Paperback. STRANGE HAPPENINGS ON THE CRESENT CITY PEARLShug Jerden didn't go looking for the dead girl. The girl came looking for Shug and with her a lot of unwanted publicity. Taking a cruise seemed like a good way to lay low till the press settled down. But the ship is touched by magic and now she can read everyone around her. Including the man stalking her. Getting a gig on the Crescent City Pearl may be The Amazing Johnny's best-and perhaps last - chance to save his career as a stage magician. After witnessing an atmospheric phenomenon Johnny discover he has real magical powers. He finds that his new powers expose him to a world of secret societies and ancient terrors. Instead of a gift, magic may be a curse that could end his career, and even his life. When Frances McKenzie is dumped by her boyfriend, she drunk-books a cruise. After vowing to take control of her life, a celestial event grants Frances special powers. Reigniting her desire to becoming a professional chef, she enters a cooking competition. To win, she must harness her powers to create more than tasty dishes. Growing stronger each day, by the final round of the competition, she can no longer hide from what she has created. After Lincoln Douglas witnessed the brutal drive-by shooting of the woman he loves, he discovers she had purchased two tickets for a cruise leaving out of New Orleans. To recover from his loss, he goes on the cruise, unaware it would forever change his life and perhaps the lives of everyone living on Earth. This item is printed on demand.
