About the Authors

Peter Bently studied languages at Oxford University and worked as a journalist and nonfiction book editor before becoming a children's author. He has written more than 70 books and has won the Road Dahl Funny Prize. Peter lives in the UK.

Laurie Stansfield grew up in Oxford, before moving to Bristol to study Illustration at the University of West England. She uses a colorful palette and lots of texture to create confident and fresh illustrations. Laurie lives and works in Bristol.
