Paperback. A Sketchy History of Akron looks back at Akron's first two decades of the 21st century through the cartoons of Craig A. Marks. Marks has been contributing cartoons to the West Side Leader and South Side News Leader since 1984, and the years 2000-2021 featured many memorable people and events. There was LeBron James' journey from high school phenom to global megastar. There was a fiery mayor, Don Plusquellic, who brought Akron into the new millennium kicking and screaming. There are cartoons about grocery wars and battles over superstores, protests against pipelines and laws about felines. And a whole lot more. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.
