George Newnes Ltd 1902 set of two small hardbacks.Red boards,blind-embossed with gilt titles.Both very bright,sharp and unbumped.Minimal shelfwear to leading edge of boards.Small barely distinguishable small marks to top of boards on both volumes.No internal markings to either.Both with pictorial frontis.Tissue-guard loose in volume 1 and missing in volume 2.Two minute fox?marks to title page of volume 2 otherwise both copies are pristine.Pictorial endpapers.Very good++.No d/js.
