Seller: Chapter 1, Johannesburg, GAU, South Africa
Hardcover. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. 240 pages (complete). A much owned copy of the souvenir book for Queen Victoria's Silver Jubilee. It is resolute, stout, aged (a bit like the Queen was in 1897). The imperial red boards are much worn, scuffed, marked all about. They are steady. The leather spine has clubbable wear. The contents are aged, worn. The title page - despite marks, wear - are bright and regal. Hand coloured gilt to the titling (fresh and luxe). The contents are placid even passive. They are worn, marked, much used, clean, clear, evocative, confident, generous to a fault. fn. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services. Seller Inventory # 59iy
