Poor hardback. The spine is heavily worn and the boards bumped to corners, outer pages foxed, pages gently age-toned. Someone has tipped-in extra plates between the pages. Tissue-guarded frontispiece and full page illus. throughout. Prize sticker to pastedown. A bit tattered externally but better than a reading copy. 256 pp 8vo quarter calf with green cloth boards. Gilt decoration to front and gilt lettering to spine. The picture on the listing page is of the actual book for sale.
