Simply, Patiently, Quietly by guitarist and composer Charlie Rauh is a guitar solo songbook and sheet music collection that brings together original notated lullabies for solo guitar and choir alongside thoughtful prose exploring intentional creativity. Complemented by pen and ink artwork by Christina Rauh Fishburne, this multidisciplinary volume is well suited to guitarists, musicians, and creative readers who appreciate reflective music-making and expressive contemporary repertoire.
The collection includes notated music presented in TAB format together with written reflections that encourage a quieter, more mindful creative practice. The combination of music, writing, and artwork creates a distinctive reading and playing experience that extends beyond a traditional songbook while remaining grounded in practical musical material. Its thoughtful balance of musical notation and reflective writing offers an engaging experience for readers who value creativity as both an artistic and personal pursuit.
Rather than focusing only on technical study, the collection invites players to engage with music through attentive listening, thoughtful interpretation, and personal expression. The original lullabies provide repertoire for individual practice and performance, while the accompanying prose encourages readers to explore creativity with patience and intention. Together, these elements create a unique resource that supports artistic exploration while offering expressive contemporary music for guitar.
Whether chosen for personal enjoyment, regular practice, creative reflection, or as a thoughtful gift for a guitarist or music enthusiast, Simply, Patiently,Quietly offers a distinctive blend of contemporary music, artistic insight, and visual art.
