- Book 4 of 8: Simply Essentials
The book begins by grounding health and wellness in daily habits. It explains how essential oils interact with the senses and routines rather than presenting them as standalone solutions. Readers are guided through the role of scent in emotional regulation, stress response, rest, and focus. Each section builds on clear reasoning, connecting oil use to lifestyle patterns such as sleep schedules, movement, hydration, and rest.
A significant portion of the book addresses stress and nervous system support. It outlines ways to use oils during moments of overwhelm, fatigue, or mental strain. Practical routines are included for morning grounding, mid-day reset, and evening wind down. These routines emphasize consistency and restraint, helping readers avoid overuse while maintaining balance.
Physical comfort and recovery are also explored. The book covers essential oil use for muscle tension, joint stiffness, headaches, and general physical fatigue. It provides guidance for topical application, blending ratios, and timing. Safety remains central throughout, with clear instruction on dilution, skin sensitivity, and responsible use.
Immune support is addressed through seasonal routines and environmental care. Readers learn how oils fit into habits that support resilience during colder months, busy periods, or recovery times. The book avoids extremes and focuses on supportive practices that align with everyday life.
Sleep and rest receive focused attention. The book explains how oils support relaxation cues and bedtime consistency. Readers are guided through creating evening rituals that promote calm without overstimulation. Attention is given to bedroom environment, lighting, and scent selection to reinforce rest.
The book also includes sections on emotional wellbeing and mental clarity. Oils are presented as tools to support focus, motivation, and emotional steadiness during work, caregiving, and personal transitions. Readers learn how to choose oils based on emotional needs rather than trends or complexity.
Throughout the book, recipes and routines are presented in a clear, structured format. Roll-ons, diffusions, compresses, and simple blends are explained step by step. Ingredients remain accessible, and each method includes context for when and why it fits into a wellness routine.
Guidance for households with children and pets is included, emphasizing careful selection and conservative use. Storage, labeling, and long term planning are also covered, helping readers build a sustainable approach rather than a growing collection.
Simply Essentials: Your Guide to Health and Wellness supports readers who want stability, clarity, and confidence in their wellness choices. It treats essential oils as part of a broader framework rooted in awareness, routine, and self-care. The book suits those seeking grounded support for daily health through thoughtful habits and informed use.

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
