She is a talented watercolour artist and is a member of The Society of Botanical Artists. With her husband, she also runs a very successful business manufacturing metal flowers cutters, and selling other sugarcraft articles. Alison lives in Bleadon, near Weston-super-Mare, Avon and teaches sugarcraft, her courses (holding 30-40 students per class) are always full. She is a regular contributor to sugarcraft magazines.
