What if the secret to a happier, fuller life was already inside you—waiting to be rediscovered?
Meet Mavis Karn—a counselor, grandmother, and quiet revolutionary who’s spent over 45 years helping people from all walks of life find their way back to themselves. In It’s That Simple, she shares 15 tender, powerful letters that feel like a warm conversation with a wise friend. It’s not just a book—it’s your personal guide to understanding how you’re made, why you feel the way you do, and how to live with more joy, every single day.
If Don’t Believe Everything You Think by Joseph Nguyen sparked a shift, Mavis takes you deeper. From her time with kids in juvenile prisons to calming a fiery athlete, Mavis weaves stories that stick with you—like the little girl who changed a stranger’s day with a handful of flowers, or the boy who found love where he once saw enemies. Through these pages, you’ll uncover:
- How to quiet the noise in your head and trust your natural wisdom.
- Why your feelings are your best compass—and how to use them.
- The simple truth that you’re already enough, exactly as you are.
- Short & Sweet: Bite-sized letters perfect for busy lives or a quick pick-me-up.
- Real-Life Magic: True stories that prove ordinary people can do extraordinary things.
- A Fresh Take: No self-help clichés—just plain, heart-opening common sense.
- Fans of Don’t Believe Everything You Think seeking warmth and depth.
- Teens, parents, and anyone swapping stress for peace.
- Anyone ready to trade overthinking for common-sense clarity and love.
“My dearest wish is that you come to see how much you’ve been underestimating what one ordinary person can accomplish…”
With a foreword by Michael Neill (The Inside-Out Revolution) and whimsical illustrations by Celia Bohle, It’s That Simple is a little book with a big heart. Pick it up, sip it slowly, and watch your world shift—one letter at a time.
Order now and let Mavis show you how simple it can be.
