It may sound like a Quilters Fantasy Island, but with this book as your guide you will find yourself making the fabulous quilts youve always dreamed about without the mountain of work you always thought it would be.
You will discover how easy it is to:
Choose just the right fabrics. For many quilters, finding the perfect combination of fabrics is both fun and torture. You can achieve the look you want, without feeling as though youve been stretched over the rack. Discover the secrets of how to put pastel fabrics together for a soft and yummy quilt without turning the color scheme into mush, or how to combine strong vibrant colors without making everyone in the room dizzy. Perhaps you are looking to add a little elegance and sophistication to your quilts, or just want your favorite colors to really sparkle. Your quilts will shine with new possibilities as you choose fabrics with confidence and creativity.
Make simple blocks. You will be amazed. As impressive as some of these quilts look, they are actually a piece of cake to sew. When you look at the instructions, you will see how each quilt is actually a combination of very simple blocks. Every step is carefully explained in a straight forward and easy to sew manner. Youll also see lots and lots of illustrations, so you know exactly what to do at every stage.
Let the magic happen. Take the simple blocks youve made and put them together. The stunning quilt that emerges will delight you. Go from making simple and easy blocks and turn them into glorious quilts. That is magic!
If you loved Nicoles 1st book, The Quilt Maniacs PLAYBOOK, you will be pleased to know that her NEW book, SIMPLE QUILTS that Look Like a Million Bucks is written in the same fun and friendly conversational style and has even MORE beautiful color photos and if you havent seen either book yet you are in for 2 great surprises!
