This book is for beginning modelers who have just downloaded a copy of Capella and are anxious to get started, but otherwise don't know too much about Arcadia and don't have much experience using Capella or any other similar tool. The purpose of this book is to help the reader get through the initial learning curve and start the reader on the way to becoming proficient at Arcadia modeling. The book is designed to be a tool companion for two of the more comprehensive books on Arcadia:Systems Architecture Modeling with the Arcadia Method: A Practical Guide to Capella (Implementation of Model Based System Engineering), 1st Edition by Pascal RoquesModel-based System and Architecture Engineering with the Arcadia Method, 1st Edition by Jean-Luc VoirinTogether, these books provide in-depth coverage of Arcadia. This book covers the basic Arcadia diagram types, showing detailed steps to construct simple models that demonstrate key concepts for each diagram type. If you work your way through all of the examples in this book, you should be on a strong footing to tackle more complex modeling problems when they come your way.Simple Arcadia for Beginners: Using Capella is a collaboration of two authors.
