As it was delivered in the Royal Society on the 15th Day of October, 1662. Together with An Historical Account of the Sacredness and Use of Standing Groves. With notes by A. Hunter. A new edition to which is added Terra: A Philosophical Discourse of Earth. 2 volumes. Engraved frontis. portrait and 41 fine plates (1 folding) illustrating foliage, fruits and flowers. 3 large folding tables. 4to, contemporary mottled calf with gilt lettering on red and green leather spine labels (outer hinges repaired). York: Printed by A. Ward for J. Dodsley, T. Cadell, J. Robeson, R. Baldwin and J. Todd, 1786. Very light scattered foxing and offsetting of the plates, else very good. One of the first important tree books published in England, the Hunter edition greatly increased the material in the original printing.
