An immortal race. A dying world. A broken man at the center of it all.
In the land of Gwald, magic flows through ancient veins beneath the earth, sustaining a world of wonders and terrors. But power breeds control—and the Silent Hand, a ruthless theocratic order, will stop at nothing to claim it all.
Their latest conquest: Lunelle, a young clairvoyant with necromantic powers strong enough to threaten the very foundation of their rule.
To rescue her, Canthorn—an immortal sorcerer wrecked by grief, addiction, and a past soaked in blood—must lead a band of misfits: a disgraced Templar, a drunken apprentice, and the ghosts of powers long buried.
As dark forces rise and ancient magic awakens, Canthorn must decide if revenge is worth the cost of redemption—or if the world is better left to burn.
The Silent Hand is the gripping first book in The Veins of Power, a sweeping dark fantasy saga full of brutal magic, shadowy orders, unlikely friendships, and twisted secrets. Perfect for fans of Joe Abercrombie, Robin Hobb, and The Broken Empire trilogy.
