A stolen voice. A dead mimic. A city built on a masterfully orchestrated lie.
Inspector Kamal is inching through Bangalore’s gridlocked traffic, expecting nothing more complicated than dinner plans, when a viral video shatters his evening. On screen, his own Deputy Commissioner of Police calmly announces the closure of a terrifying biological contamination case. The problem? The real DCP never said a word of it.
The trail leads Kamal from the high-tech ethical-hacking hubs of HSR Layout to a quiet apartment where a brilliant mimicry artist lies dead, his heart allegedly giving out. But in the gritty underworld of Bangalore, nothing is as natural as it seems. Beneath the stolen recordings, a faint, monsoon-night frog croak leaves a chilling signature—the calling card of a phantom operator known as Chanakyan.
As Kamal chases the threads through enforcement fronts on JC Road, the historic temples of Hyderabad, and back to the serene, red-seeded paths of Kerala, he keeps colliding with a singular mark: a dragon tattoo worn by men who know exactly how to stay silent. Every lucky break, every anonymous tip, and every closed file from Kamal's past begins to look less like coincidence and more like the deliberate moves of a decades-long game.
From the moody, rain-slicked streets of the IT capital to a high-stakes escape at Bengaluru International Airport, Kamal closes in on Indran Tomas—a legendary figure spinning a web of leverage, legacy, and murder. But as the blue light of a distant television pulses against the night, Kamal realizes the most terrifying truth of all: the ultimate architect of this grand empire might be someone he already calls family.
