Neuware - The Silence Where You Should Be is a haunting exploration of love that never quite becomes real-of connections imagined, words unspoken, and intimacy that exists only in the fragile space between longing and memory.Through a series of dark, introspective poems, Rodney Hatfield Jr. traces the quiet unraveling of a heart devoted to what it cannot have. These verses move through shadow and desire, where absence takes on weight, where silence speaks louder than confession, and where love lingers not in shared moments, but in the ache of what never came to be.Blurring the line between devotion and illusion, this collection captures the psychology of yearning-of building someone from fragments, of holding onto a presence that was never truly there. Each poem becomes a reflection of the mind's ability to create, distort, and cling, even in the face of emptiness. For those who have loved in silence, who have felt deeply without return, and who have carried someone in thought long after they were gone-or never arrived at all-this chapbook offers a mirror, a confession, and a quiet understanding.…
