President Richard M. Nixon (January 9, 1913 - April 22, 1994) was the 37th President of the United States, serving from 1969 to 1974. He was the only American President to resign from office. His resignation came in the face of imminent impeachment relating to the Watergate scandal, which encompassed numerous crimes and misconduct beginning with the break-in at the Watergate complex in Washington DC. This TLS on Vice-Presidential stationary to Mr. Max Bradshaw thanking him for hospitality during a visit by the Nixon's to Casper, Wyoming.
